Prenatal and postnatal yoga and mindfulness go far beyond building strength, stamina, and flexibility. These practices offer vital support for a mother's emotional, mental, and social well-being during this life-changing time.

Physical Relief: Reduces pregnancy discomforts such as headaches, nausea, back pain, and sleep disturbances while enhancing immune function.

Program Information

Offered how often: two times a year

Length of Programs: eight weeks long

Where is it offered: online via Zoom every week and in-person at various locations across three counties

Sublette County Library- Pinedale, 1st Tuesday of the month

Teton County Library- Jackson, 2nd Tuesday of the month

Lincoln County Library- Alpine,

Our Program Design

Our 8-week programs, tailored for the prenatal and postnatal stages, combine the latest research with mindfulness techniques to meet mothers' unique needs.

 

Key Focus Areas

• Stress Reduction: Breathing techniques and mindful movement activate the parasympathetic nervous system, easing stress.

• Physical Comfort: Gentle postures to alleviate pregnancy and postpartum discomfort.

Endurance and Resilience: Meditative practices to build mental and physical strength for labor and beyond.

 

Our mission is to empower mothers to prioritize their well-being, ensuring they thrive alongside their babies.

When to start

Prenatal: Anytime trimester that you feel ready.

Postnatal: Typically six weeks after vaginal delivery or eight weeks after cesarean.

 

You know your body best. Talk with your health care provider if you're unsure.
